5-days canoe tour

Breakfast and checking out.

You will get a canoe, a paddle, a lifevest, tent etc.

Further you will get a lecture about safety, "allemansrätten"  and eventually instructions how to paddle a canoe.

All equipment will be packed in the canoe and off you go....
to a special island.

After about 2 hours of canoeing you will arrive on the island where you will be the rest of the evening and the night.

You put up your tent and will experience hiking and climbing uphill through the bushbush.

At the top of the island you will enjoy the wonderful view over the lake and it's islands and find annimal tracks.

Back at the basecamp you will start preparing the barbeque:

finding wood for the fire,

saw it,

hack it and

fire it. .

In the evening we advice you to peddle out with your canoe the the middle of

the lake to experience the magnificent sunset with only hearing the water tickling your canoe.

The remaning time of the evening you can enjoy at the causiness of flames flickering in the fireplace.

Breakfast and packing the camp.

Departure by canoe to the next island 56, where you will put of your camp (paddling distance is about 25 kilometer)

You will paddle to Bengtfors where youwill do the shopping for the dinner and you will be free to visit the museum.

(At this open air museam are several historical houses were build that shows how people in Sweden used to live in the past)

After returning to your camp you will prepare dinner. Every member fixes his or her dinner on a small cookingset.

Causy evening around the campfire.

Returning back to Alcatraz by canoe. (about 20 kilometer)

Back at Alcatraz. Cleaning the equipment end take a nice warm shower.

Dinner at the restaurant.

Causy evening in the Alcatraz pub or around the campfire.

In stead of canoeing back to alcatraz you can also travel back by trolley.

With this  railbike  you drive about 25 km over het railway to Alcatraz.

You will pass and visite spots where you normally don't even think about going there.

These trolleys are in single or tandem versions.

The costs for these are: SEK 330 for the single version (2-persons) or
